About Us

At Living Solutions Interior Design, we strive to help create spaces that offer ultimate functionality while providing a sense of peace, beauty and comfort. It is our responsibility to listen to your desires and needs during the design process and take into consideration your unique style and taste. Your design aesthetic, your lifestyle and the way that you hope to function and live in your home are of utmost importance to us as we work together to create a beautiful space. Our greatest fulfillment is connecting with our clients and building relationships that last beyond the project.

We met 6 years ago while working together at Ethan Allen, and quickly became great friends. We discovered we shared a passion for all things design: the world of color, texture, fabric, space planning, design details, fabric, custom window treatments & bedding, accessories, and did we mention fabric!  With over 20 combined years of experience, we will never tire of providing our clients with a calm place to relax, a vibrant place to entertain, or simply a beautiful place to live.

Since an early age, I have been inspired by a well functioning space and beautiful details.  After starting at UC Davis as an Art History major, I discovered what I really wanted to be a part of was design. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Design with an emphasis in Interior Architecture from UC Davis. I have worked in the design field for over 11 years, with experience in color selection, paint, flooring, and combining it all working as an interior designer. Space planning is what I studied; color, fabric and custom window treatments & bedding are my passions.  I absolutely love seeing a vision on paper or in my head come to life in my  client’s home!

My mom taught me to sew at age seven. I didn’t know it then, but that hobby would turn into a skill that would shape my life. My creations grew from doll clothes, to designing and making my own clothing, to highly developing highly detailed costumes. I used my skill of designing & creating elaborate costumes to help support myself while in college, The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles, CA. Thanks mom! My first job in the industry was in the workroom of an Interior Designer who ran her business out of her home. That was where my dream of owning my own business began. There I learned the art of making custom window treatments, and I was hooked! After that my career blossomed while working at Ethan Allen for six years. There I learned the art of creating not only beautiful spaces, but functional homes. I thrive on bringing peace and satisfaction into our client’s homes: paying close attention to those important details that I fell in love with so many years ago.
